BATON ROUGE, La. — September 15, 2026 — Coastal Beef LLC now ships USDA-certified, pasture-raised beef directly to consumers across the United States, the Louisiana agriculture and farming business announced today with the launch of its e-commerce delivery service.

Orders are sealed for freshness and sent by next-day or two-day air delivery anywhere in the country. Customers may buy beef in a range of quantities, including quarter, half, and whole shares, along with premium steaks, ground beef, boxes, bundles, shank, roasts, and briskets. The company states that its cattle are raised on open pastures without hormones, vaccines, or artificial practices, and that its beef is USDA certified.

The direct-to-consumer model lets households select the quantity that suits them, from a few premium steaks to a quarter, half, or whole share, with air delivery used to help preserve quality from the farm to the doorstep. Coastal Beef LLC said the launch reflects growing consumer interest in knowing where food comes from and how it is produced, and places the company within a broader movement of American farms using direct shipping to shorten the distance between pasture and plate.

“Coastal Beef grew from a passion for quality that begins with the animals and reaches the people caring for them,” said owner Chris Tassin. “Our first chapter was coastal grass for elite equine athletes, and that same respect for nourishment still shapes how we raise beef today.”

The company traces its origins to 1999 in the equine forage industry and has operated in Louisiana for more than 25 years. Its agricultural operations emphasize soil health, clean water, natural feed, and calm animal care. Coastal Beef LLC says it manages genetics through finishing with a focus on quality and transparency, practices intended to support animal welfare and consistent beef quality across its product line, from ground beef and briskets to roasts, shank, and premium steaks.

According to the company, growth will be gradual and guided by its existing approach to raising cattle rather than by rapid scaling, allowing it to keep attention on pasture management, animal care, and the details of finishing. Coastal Beef LLC said its Louisiana roots and its history in equine forage remain central to how it describes its identity today. The company now offers American Beef, Angus beef, and other beef products directly to consumers nationwide.
